Qingdao port, a port in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China, is located on the Jiaozhou Bay of Shandong Peninsula. It is an international trade port and transit hub along the Yellow River Basin and the west coast of the Pacific Ocean. The port has an area of 420 square kilometers, 18 wharfs, 69 berths, more than 160 container routes, cargo throughput of more than 510 million tons, and the port cargo throughput ranks sixth in the world.
