Keelung port is located at the north end of Taiwan Island. It is an important marine fishery base in the north of Taiwan. The port is surrounded by mountains on three sides. There are more than 40 berths in the coastal bay, with an annual throughput of about 35-40 million tons. Its main cargo includes grain, oil, cement, wood, chemical fertilizer and steel. It is the tenth largest container transportation port in the world.
